For the 3rd consecutive year Link Property Services will be taking the STEPtember challenge in support of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. As many would know, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance has been enormously helpful to one of our own here at Link Property Services and, we like to give back.
Cerebral Palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood. One in two people with Cerebral Palsy are in chronic pain due to the tightening of their muscles. Many will never be able to take a single step without assistance. Cerebral Palsy Alliance is an organisation that provides family-centred therapies, life skills programs, equipment and support for people living with cerebral palsy and their families.
At Cerebral Palsy Alliance the priority is to help babies, children, teenagers and adults living with cerebral palsy lead the most comfortable, independent and inclusive life possible. They work to ensure people with Cerebral Palsy have access to high quality and innovative services and programs.
Cerebral Palsy Alliance operates from 55 sites throughout metropolitan, regional and rural NSW and the ACT. They rely on your generosity to raise funds for services and research.
If you’re not sure where to start, a donation of $55 could help to purchase a walker to enable a child with Cerebral Palsy, mobility and independence. You’ll receive an automated receipt as every donation over $2 is tax deductible.
You can donate to the fundraising page here: http://bit.ly/1oXQQNg
Any amount you contribute would make a huge difference to children and adults living with Cerebral Palsy and of course encourage the Link Property Services team to complete their 10,000 steps per day!
We thank you!
